The Phantom Blade series
Updated 2026-10-16. Checked 2026-10-16.
Phantom Blade Zero is not Phantom Blade: Executioners and is not an anime season. S-GAME's 2023 developer introduction calls Zero a spiritual rebirth of Rainblood within the wider Phantom Blade franchise. No earlier purchase or save requirement is listed for Zero.
The official spelling is Phantom Blade Zero, also styled Phantom Blade Ø. Searches for Phantom Blade 0 usually mean this game, not a separate numbered release.
What to play if you only want Zero
For Zero's October 29, 2026 release, use its official store links. Executioners is a separate side-scrolling game announced as free-to-play in 2023; launch history does not guarantee its servers are accessible in every region today.
Rain and Blood is a 2024 promotional short on the official YouTube channel. It is not evidence of a streaming anime season. See the verified animated trailer.
