Its kungfupunk world combines Chinese martial arts, machinery and supernatural threats. Sources: the official site and Steam, checked October 16.

How fights are described
Combat combines weapon combos, dodging and deflection rather than relying on one technique. Main weapons and secondary Phantom Edges can be upgraded and paired with accessories; the developer's August 17 PlayStation Blog explains that reforging returns invested materials.
In his October 8 Inven interview, director Soulframe Liang describes RPG progression, Souls-inspired level design and fast combo combat as distinct layers. Steam's user-defined Souls-like tag is not an official genre verdict. See difficulty modes and the Soulslike question.
Exploration, story and playing solo
The studio's original PlayStation Blog describes a semi-open world of handcrafted maps rather than one enormous open world. Side quests can open story paths, according to the August 2026 developer post.
Steam lists Single-player. This is not a browser game or a co-op campaign. See multiplayer status, the spoiler-light story premise and developer playtime estimates before choosing a version.
