How long is Phantom Blade Zero?

Updated 2026-10-16. Checked 2026-10-16.

The newest directly checked estimate is 25-30 hours for a skilled player's full playthrough, from Soulframe Liang's October 8, 2026 Inven interview. Boss retries can change that substantially. This is a developer estimate, not a measured launch-build average or a completionist guarantee.

Earlier interviews use different scopes. Their main-story and optional-content estimates are shown separately rather than added together into an unsupported current total.

Main story, side content and completionist time

GamesBeat's June 2024 interview estimated 20-30 hours for the main campaign and another 20-30 for side quests, collectibles and challenges. That earlier planning estimate is not the same measurement as October's skilled-player full playthrough.

Game Rant's December 18, 2025 interview reports eight endings affected by side quests and items held at story checkpoints. Exact ending routes, the number of required runs and an all-endings clear time remain unverified before release.
